Event Description
Join us to learn more about the Foar from Home Team and what they’re doing to end veteran suicide.
“It Takes An Island To Cross An Ocean.”
FOAR FROM HOME is an all-Veteran Row team from Fernandina Beach, Florida that will row 3,000 miles in the challenge to row from the Canary Islands to Antigua to raise awareness for Veteran PTSD and Veteran suicide. Please join us in celebrating their continual efforts for this very courageous cause and to become more educated about the individuals who not only keep our community safe but our country as well
FOAR FROM HOME is using our platform and community to raise awareness and make an impact on veteran PTSD and suicide statistics.
Veterans, both men and women, face many challenges and issues while transitioning back into civilian life. Unfortunately, many Veterans struggle with identity issues, financial problems, housing accessibility, cognitive disorders and impacts from PTSD. All of these factors can lead to suicidal thoughts and suicide attempts by those who have served.
Meet the Team
- Billy Cimino, Veteran, United States Army
- Cameron Hanson, Veteran, United States Air Force
- A.M. ‘Hupp’ Huppmann, Veteran, United States Navy
